Why I'm building TeePop

TeePop started as a personal annoyance and turned into a full product venture. I lead product strategy and development end to end — market and competitor research to nail down what golfers actually want, detailed specs for our engineering and manufacturing partners, and the industrial design relationship that took this from a sketch to a working mold.

The unglamorous half of the job matters just as much: intellectual property strategy, trademark protection, and product liability and safety review, all while managing the vendor relationships that get a physical product actually made. That's the part nobody sees on the tee box, but it's most of the work.

Background

Before and alongside TeePop, I've spent the last couple of years in roles that are all, in one way or another, about understanding what people need and closing the loop with them.
